Lora Cash, BA, graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles in 2018. She immediately began working as a Healthcare Administrative Coordinator at Myofunctional Therapy Associates for over two and a half years. During this time she also performed the role of Administrative Assistant at AOMT for a little over a year. Deciding to seek further medical-based education, Lora started pre-dentistry studies (completed in 2021) while taking on the role of Executive and Research Assistant to Chele Marmet. To date, Lora has accumulated over seven years in allied health, and four years in the lactation field. During this time, Lora refined her medical writing and editing skills and co-edited a book on orofacial myofunctional therapy, “Is Your Tongue Killing You?” by Joy Moeller, in which she also cowrote/edited a section on the importance of breastfeeding under the lead authorship of Chele Marmet. During her time with Chele, Lora has worked to preserve, organize, and deliver important, historical lactation consultant information. Of note, Lora co-authored a three-article series on the Marmet Technique, which was published in Clinical Lactation. She continues to research, write, edit, and further her education to aid those suffering from suboptimal health conditions related to oral and airway development.
